About this Recipe
By: Jessica Cianci
A while back we started to get our meat delived through a subscription service. One month I accidently ended up with 4 pounds of groud beef. While I LOVE a good taco night, I don’t think 4 in a month with beef woud have worked. I also didn’t have the time to make my regular meatballs so meat sauce it was! This is simple and tastes amazing I keep looking for other things to top it with because shoveling it in my mouth alone may be frowned upon…

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 2 carrots chopped
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 Cup red wine
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- to taste red pepper flakes.
When I made this recipe I used 80/20 ground beef. I normally use a leaner variety but this is what I had on hand. You can sub out the beef completly for a ground chicken or trukey if you wish! Still delicious!
